I ♥ Weekends at Home

Sam came to visit me on Friday! I love when we comes to see me, because I don't have to pack and travel. =) We had pizza with my parents when he got in town. After dinner, we tried to go see Couples Retreat (our 3rd attempt), but the movie was sold out, and we did not want to come back for the later movie. So, we just went back home and watched a movie on TV before going to bed.

On Saturday, Ash and Chris came over, and we all watched the UT/Bama game. My dad made delicious chili for the game...so it was a typical UT Saturday in Nashville. We all watched UT keep up with Bama the whole game, and we all thought UT was going to win at the end, but unfortunately our field goal was blocked, so UT lost 12-10. Defintiely a close game, and UT was the only team to score a touchdown. The VOLS played their hearts out...and I definitely thought they were just as good or better than Bama...but unfortunately our field goal team wasn't at their best...but IT'S GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!! After the VERY SAD LOSS to Bama...Sam and I went over to Cooper's house to watch the Auburn/LSU game. We had a good time hanging out with our friends, despite Auburn losing 31-10 to LSU. It was a night of losses...so hopefully this Saturday will fair better for both teams. UT is playing South Carolina at home...and there is a rumor that they are going to wear orange and black jerseys...would look so awesome. I will be going to Auburn with Sam this weekend, and they will be playing Ole Miss...so that should be a fun and interesting game. We are still trying to figure out what to dress up as for Halloween...let me know if you have any ideas.

On Sunday, Sam and I went to the Locke Family Annual Reunion. We had a great time eating good food and catching up with our family that we do not get to see very often. Sam has now met all of my family members on the Locke side. Hopefully he will get to meet all of the Sharber clan before too long. After the reunion, we went back to my house and watched a little football and napped, before Sam headed back home around 6:00. I was so sad (as I always am) to say bye to him. Can't wait till Friday!!
