This past weekend was Homecoming for UT and Auburn...and it was the most beautiful November weekend. The sky was blue all weekend and the temp stayed in the 70's...what a blessing!
I drove to Birmingham on Friday in my mom's new Cube (post to come about the Cube). When I arrived in Birmingham, Sam and I hung out and watched Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas...hilarious I know...but it was almost as good as it was 15 years ago. We got in bed early, because we had to get up at the crack of dawn to make it to Auburn for the 12:30 game. We got in town around 10:30, which gave us enough time to tailgate with Sam's family and friends before heading to the stadium.
Before the game in our orange and blue...check out that blue sky!
With Rachel and Anna =)

The game was a lot of fun, and Auburn had a big win against Furman 63-31...Go Tigers! After the game, we went back to the tailgate to watch Bama beat LSU. Sam and I also made a quick trip to College Street during half time. Auburn has the cutest boutiques...and usually there is never time to shop...but we squeezed in a little time on Saturday. I am planning to head back to the boutiques when we are in AU for the Iron Bowl...can't wait!
~BEST GIFT EVER...every girl needs an AU koozie!!~
Before Sam and I headed back to Birmingham Saturday night, we watched a little bit of the UT game, and visited with the Crofoot family. The Vols won big against Memphis winning 56-28...Go Vols! It was so good to see all of the Crofoot family. We sat around the camp fire, hung out, and ate delicious food...it was a great end to a really good day!
On Sunday, Sam and I got in the Cube and went to The Egg and I for brunch. Afterward, we went to Homegoods to get Sam some wine glasses and a new blanket for me (comfy blankets are one of my favorite things)...which I was stoked about. We watched a little NFL football before I headed back in the Cube to Nashville. I got home in time to watch the end of the Titans' game with my parents and Sandy....which the Titans won 34-27...Code Blue! My weekend was FABULOUS...and now I am back to reality! Have a great week everyone!
