Winners All Around!!

What a Wonderful Weekend!

I left work at 2:00pm on Friday, and headed to Birmingham around 3:30pm, and got into town around 6:00pm. Sam and I hung out for a few minutes before getting back in the car to head to Auburn. Friday night, we met up with some of our friends at 1716, and had a great time! We stayed there for a few hours, and then headed across the street to In Italy, where Sam and John danced the night away. ;)

Pre-Game Fun!

Saturday morning, we headed to Sam's tailgate around 9:45am, since the game was at 11:21am. The day was filled with wonderful friends and suprises! First, Reed and Crystal came over to the tailgate to hang out, because they were in town rooting for Ole Miss. As soon as they got to the tailgate, Reed told me that Adam was in town. I had not seen him in a while since he has joined the army, and has been in another state training...so needless to say I was shocked when Reed told me Adam was in Auburn. Turns out...he met his girlfriend, Melissa, there for the weekend. After hanging out with Reed, Crystal, Adam, and Melissa at the tailgate, we headed to the game in the cold, rainy, and windy weather.

Game Time!

The game was great and Auburn played really well...and won 33-20...Go Tigers! After the game, Sam and I headed back to the tailgate to hang out with his family and friends, before gathering our stuff and heading back to Bham to watch UT play at 6:45pm. We got back to Sam's house just in time for the game. WHAT AN AWESOME GAME!!! Lane Kiffin had the VOLS in black and orange...which had been rumored, and I was hoping would happen!! They warmed up in all orange, and then went back to change before coming out in the Power T in orange and black. I was so fired up!!{Notice their names were not on the jerseys? I have heard hearsay that Mike Hamilton originally said no to the black jersey idea...but Hardesty and Berry went into his office the Wednesday before the SC game and asked him and he agreed...so there was a short amount of time to get the jerseys before Saturday's game.} Anyway...the VOLS looked and played AWESOME!! They beat the Gamecocks 31-13...GO VOLS!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

On Sunday, we watched Silence of the Lambs, a movie I had never seen, but had been wanting to. It was great, and now I want to see The Red Dragon and Hannibal. After the movie, we went and had brunch at IHOP, and returned back to Sam's to watch a little NFL football, before I headed back home around 4:00pm. The Titans got their first win on Sunday...YAY...and the Colts are still undefeated...Go Peyton! Whoo hoo!
