This Girl has a Great Unit ~ This and That...

Good Morning Everyone, and HAPPY HUMP DAY!! A little late in the week to just now be posting, but I had a crazy weekend, followed by a busy week. First off...MONDAY, APRIL 12th was my Daddy's 55th birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!! I will put a post for just him soon...unfortunately did not do that on Monday. April 12th also marks my half birthday...so yes...I am 26.5...27 is getting oh so close...ahh! Today is actually my Uncle Jimmy's birthday...my dad's one year older brother...so...HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE JIMMY!!

I was busy last night, because I was in the salon getting my hair highlighted for 3 hours!! It is light for summer...and even though I wear it brown half the year (my natural color) and highlighted the other half...it still takes some getting used to when I change it...so that is exactly what I am doing...getting used to it. To the right is a little glimpse of my new hair color...you like? It is actually a little lighter in person, but this was the best I could do for now. And the sunglasses being on this late at night...well that was to cover up the "no makeup" that I wasn't wearing. ;) Anyway, I am going to see my bf and bff this weekend, so I should have plenty of pictures to post. And with that said...I still have not posted pictures of Ashley's shower...because I have misplaced my USB cord, but I am on the hunt and will find and post very soon!

I am so fired up, because I took Friday off...YAYA...so today is my Thursday of the week...oh that feels so good!!

I want to leave this post with a little shout out to all my wonderful friends and family. You know who you are, and that I love you all very much, and feel so blessed that God placed you in my life. Just wanted to say that I am always here for you, just like you are for me...and never hesitate to ask. Below are two of my favorite song lyrics about friends. I hope you like them. :-)

"I get by with a little help from my friends."
- John Lennon-

"Keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for."
-Dionne Warwick-
