I am thinking of the David Bowie song, Changes. It is my new life motto for the time being....because....I am moving to Birmingham next weekend!! I cannot even believe that this time has finally come. I have so much to learn about the state of Alabama...don't really know much...except that it is even hotter there than in Tennessee. Luckily, I won't be too far from my family and friends. A 2.5 hour drive up 65 will always get me back to HOME SWEET HOME!! Of course now...I am starting a new home. Everything is really falling into place, and I am truly blessed! I put all my faith in the Lord, and he is delivering big!! AMEN! THANK YOU SO MUCH to my family and friends for your love and support! Yall have been great cheerleaders for me during my searching, and I appreciate that more than anything!
I have wanted to move to Birmingham for a while, because that is where my Sammy lives. Yes, I said it...I am moving for love! After being in a distant relationship for more than 2 years...it is finally time to be in the same town and give 65 a break from our driving every weekend. However, I will be back home a lot, because I love my family and friends too much to stay away for very long. And...my baby nephew, Grady...going to have to make trips to see that precious face in person! Oh I am going to miss him so much!! I will be blogging about all my new Alabama adventures soon!! Get excited!!
