Home Sweet Home!

Sam and I went to Franklin, TN to see my family Wednesday after work....it was a late, long, and dark drive, and I was so THANKFUL to Sam for driving me...he's the best!

Thursday, we had Thanksgiving lunch at my parent's house. It was Ash, Chris, Grady, MaMa, Momma, Daddy, Sam and me. We had the most delicious feast thanks to my Momma, grandmother, and sister....DELISH! After lunch, we hung out for a while...and later Sam and I went over to stay at Chris and Ashley's house.

Friday morning, we got a little Grady time, before Sam headed back to Auburn and I headed to my hair appointment (to try out wedding styles). Mom went with me and we tried it up and down....plus make up....all was a success....so I probably won't decide the exact hair style until much closer to the wedding...but I have my stylist...so that is a check off the list. Mom and I went shopping later that day and also went to check out the progress of Sambuca. It looks fabulous and it is going to be the perfect venue for our reception....so excited!!!!! Later we went home and hung out with Ash, Chris, Grady, and Dad. :-)

On Saturday I met Mary Katherine at Drake's (great bar...try it if you are in Cool Springs) to hang out and watch the pathetic UT game...we had fun despite the outcome of the game. Afterward, I met up with my mom and we went to Arzelles and found the perfect Mother of the Bride dress for her. Then, we met Ash and Grady at BB&B to register. Mom and Ash were the biggest help and I am so thankful for them! We registered for a lot of great stuff... and it was actually fun too. Grady loved the scanner...haha! After hours of registering, we worked up an appetite and met the boys at Cajun Steamer. After dinner, Mom and Ash took Grady home, and I went with Dad and Chris to check out new cars. Still debating whether to get one or keep my G...which I love so dearly.

Sunday came too quickly! Ash, Chris, and Grady came over for breakfast and then Mom took me to the airport around 11am. Once I boarded the plane...we had to wait an hour because a power outaged caused all sorts of issues with getting the luggaged checked and to our plane. So we took off around the time we were supposed to land...which I hated for Sam since he had to wait an hour for me...but he was a good sport about it. I got in around 2:30 and we headed back to Auburn in the rain. Got back around 5 and it was good to be home. What a great weekend!!!! Cannot wait for Christmas!

**Grady is talking all the time now and it is so precious. Of course, I love it when he says KK...so sweet! It is so fun watching him progress. I was amazed that he would pick up something of my mom's and say Nana...or my dad's and say Papa...or mine and say KK. He is just so smart! He is very nosy observant, so he doesn't miss anything. He is our little Curious George!**
