One more day....

The wait is almost over....baby rod #2 will be here tomorrow! Yippeee!!!! I'm a happy aunt to have another little boy added to our family! Unfortunately, I will miss all the hospital fun since I can't take off work and am 5 hours away :( ...but I am going to get home as soon as I can on Friday to hold my new baby nephew...ahh there is nothing better than holding a newborn baby. And...since the baby will be born...that means there will finally be a name. My sister and Chris are finally going to have to decide on a final name...hmmm...what will it be?
The names in the running are Wilson, Nolan, Luke, and Michael (after my daddy...will be a middle name if not first name). Luke is the name I have always wanted to name my son (if I ever have a boy...some are convinced I will only have girls...shhh...don't tell Sam). Anyway, Ash doesn't want to take the name, but we hate for such a good name to be wasted if I don't have boys...so I told her there was no harm in her naming him Luke...and then if I have a boy...he can be Luke too. Who says sisters can't have kids with the same name...sure doesn't bother me. Anyway...she is hoping after she sees his face that she will know the perfect name for him (hopefully after the drugs wear off....)
So ready for this weekend...not only do I get to meet and hold the new baby, but I get to spend a lot of time with Grady!!! Sam and I cannot wait to get to Nashville and spend time with our precious nephew nephews. DOUBLE THE FUN!!!!

Happy Hump Day!

It's already Wednesday...can you believe it? So I am going to ramble just a bit...

I got a sweet little surprise in the mail today! After 5 weeks of waiting...I got my monogram Moon and Lola necklace! YAY!!! It is so cute and I cannot wait to start wearing it. There were so many colors to choose from and although I really wanted the pink one...I decided to be a little more practical and get the gold. Check them out here.. http://www.moonandlola.com/

Also...I am loving that I have my RH shows coming on 3 days a week. From Sunday-Tuesday, I can enjoy RHONJ, RHONY, and RHOC. I heard that the ladies from the OC just recorded the reunion....guess that will be coming up before we know it.

We went to the beach last weekend for a wedding, and we had the best time!! Post and pictures from that weekend coming soon.

Although I love being on the go...I am looking forward to a weekend at home and playing catch up before we start traveling again. Our 2nd nephew will be born in less than one week, so we will be heading to Nashville next weekend to meet him. Cannot wait to hold that precious baby boy...who still doesn't have a definite name. ;-)

Happy Friday! I am so glad we are just minutes from the start of the weekend...what a great feeling!

I am looking forward to a relaxing evening planned. Going to get my nails done after work and then either picking up some din din or going out for a little date...we will see where the night takes us. We are leaving in the am to head to our friend' s wedding in Port St. Joes...looking forward to a beautiful wedding and fun weekend with friends.

I have the best girlfriends in the world. I cannot express in words how amazing they are and how blessed I am to have them as my friends. Ever since getting engaged (and always), they have been there every step of the way making me feel so special and loved. The wedding weekend was no different as they were all there to help me out with everything and anything I needed that weekend.

So I wanted to do a special post for my favorite girls...and highlight some of the wedding pictures of them throughout the day. Thank you all so much for being a loving friend to me! You are my favorites and I love you all so much!

Memorial Day Weekend 2012

THANK YOU to all the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. You are heros. God bless you all and your loved ones.

Friday after work, we headed down to Blue Mountain Beach to enjoy a 3-day weekend with our friends. We got settled in Friday evening...and enjoyed the warm weather and the gulf.


Saturday, we went to breakfast at Flip Flops and then headed to the beach. We met up with some of our friends that live in Santa Rosa Beach and hung out with them on the beach all day...good times. After a day at the beach, we got ready and met up with Reed and Crystal for dinner at Stinky's. Wonderful dinner with our friends...what a fun night!!



On Sunday, we went to brunch at Hibiscus...good food and fun enviroment. Then, we went over to hang out at Steve and Tarah's condo in Seagrove. Philip, Erin, and Manning met us over there....and we all had a fun day in the sun! After we were all worn out from the sun, we headed back to our condo and got ready for dinner. We met Steve, Tarah, and their girls in Seaside and ate at our favorite restaurant, Great Southern Cafe. Delicious dinner and wonderful night with our friends.



On Monday, we went to brunch at Another Broken Egg...this was our favorite breakfast place...so delish! After indulging there, we went back over to Steve and Tarah's condo to hang out with them for the afternoon. We had so much fun over there...and their girls are too cute!! Later that afternoon we decided to head back home, but we stopped and did a little shopping in Seaside first. After a 3.5 hour drive...we were back home! It sure is nice being so close to the beach.



My beautiful wedding shoes...

After finding the "perfect dress", I knew I had to find the "perfect shoes". I wanted beautiful shoes that I would NEVER buy on a regular basis...some very special shoes for this very special day. After searching online for the perfect shoes...I found some gorgeous Jimmy Choos that I fell in love with...and I actually ended up getting the shoes I had originally picked out...but I definitely tried on several shoes...just to be sure! When spending that kind of money on shoes...you have to know 100% they are the right ones. When I was in Vegas with my besties for my bachelorette party...one thing on the "to do list" was to go to Jimmy Choo to get my wedding shoes. I was so glad to have my friends with me to help make the decision on the right pair. I ended up getting the wedges...because they are comfortable, fun, and I knew I could wear them again (which I already have). I love these beauties and they are so special to me. I wore them for our rehearsal dinner and on our wedding day...these are "my glass slippers".

Funny thing about my sliver shoes...I asked my bridesmaids to wear nude shoes in the wedding. I said it was ok if they were gold but please NO SILVER. I have just never been a fan of silver shoes and especially with the coral pink they were wearing. Of course these silver shoes were much prettier than any other I had ever seen. And..the pictures don't do them justice...they are much more gorgeous in person.
